 Project Highlights

Purpose

This project will maximize parking and provide lighting, sidewalk improvements, and ADA ramps to accommodate growing ridership and improve access to the train station.
 

​Description

This project involves reconstructing the existing parking lot southwest of the intersection of North Duke Street and McGovern Avenue at the former Fulton Bank, south of Lancaster Station. The lot will be expanded to include the unimproved lot adjoining the existing parking area fronting North Duke Street. The project includes demolition of the existing facilities and parking lot reconstruction, to include:

Construction began in July 2020 and is expected to be completed by late 2020. The existing parking lot will remain closed to the public through construction completion.
