A January 2022 ribbon-cutting marked completion of the new, accessible station.
Federal, state, and local leaders kicked off station construction with a groundbreaking ceremony in October 2021.
The new Lancaster Station parking lot on Christian Street was completed in March 2021.
Station improvements were completed in October 2019, including a new entrance from South Market Street with stair and elevator towers to accessible platforms.
Phase 1 station modernization was completed in September 2019, providing accessible platforms, improved parking, and upgraded rail infrastructure.
The Reading to Philadelphia Passenger Rail Analysis was completed in December 2020.
