“Access the Keystone” began as a parallel study to Plan the Keystone. While Plan the Keystone focused on train station improvements, Access the Keystone considered improvements in how people get to, or access, those stations. The Access the Keystone team continues to work with station communities along the eastern portion of the Keystone Corridor (Harrisburg to Philadelphia) to evaluate and enhance pedestrian, bicycle, and transit connections as well as area signage, parking, lighting, and zoning. PennDOT recently conducted stakeholder outreach sessions for stations along the Keystone East Corridor. Information gathered from these meetings will help prioritize low-cost, multimodal improvements to better connect communities to stations. Click to leave this site and visit AccesstheKeystone.com.
