39 Station Avenue
Ardmore, PA 19003

Ardmore Station is located at Anderson and Coulter avenues in Lower Merion Township, Montgomery County. The modest brick station building was constructed by the Pennsylvania Railroad in 1957 after the previous Victorian-era depot was destroyed by fire. The station serves Amtrak trains and SEPTA regional rail (Paoli/Thorndale Line), and is a stop on several local bus routes. There is an indoor waiting area, restrooms, and a ticket office with limited hours. There is no baggage service at Ardmore. Bicycle racks are available, and the station is within walking distance of residential and commercial areas. The station and parking lot are leased to SEPTA, which is leading improvements to the station in cooperation with PennDOT, Amtrak, and Lower Merion Township.
