The Harrisburg Station is located at 4th Street and Chestnut Street in the City of Harrisburg., Dauphin County. This station is currently a stop on Amtrak’s Keystone Corridor Service. This station is 104 track miles from 30th Street Station. According to Amtrak, the number of passengers using Harrisburg Station has grown by two-thirds over the past four years.
Much of the community in the immediate area is built out or commercial, retail and office land uses. The area to the south is industrial and railroad use and to the north the neighborhood is office with the exception of commercial uses along Walnut Street. The station is about one city block south of the Capital Complex.
