Middletown is the first station east of Harrisburg along the Keystone Corridor. The station is located in Middletown Borough at the intersection of Union and Mill Streets. The existing station has to be redesigned to address two issues: 1. The existing station platform is shorter than Amtrak’s minimum standard length . A preliminary engineering study looked at options for a redesigned station. This study identified four potential station locations for further evaluation: 1.
